Kelly’s Hay is a family owned business run by the Cogill family in the Burdekin area, near Townsville in Far North Queensland. Kelly has grown up around horses and cattle her whole life competing in Campdrafting, Showjumping, Rodeos and Stockhorse events at the highest levels. Kelly understands the importance of having your horses in peak condition for both work and competition. To ensure she had the best premium hay for her horses she decided to grow her own ensuring her animals would have the very best. Seeing an opportunity in the market for her top quality product Kelly’s hay is now available to the public.
The Cogill family have been in the farming industry for over 35 years owning and running cattle stations in Hughenden, Pentland and Townsville areas. The Cogill Family understand the importance of affordable good quality hay and make a promise to ensure all hay is affordable and fresh for everyone.
We strongly believe that ‘if you look after your soil, your soil will look after you’ which is why we fertilise before every cut. All our Hay is cut green, fresh and is irrigated and fertilised before every cut. Our hay is baled in 3 x 4 round bales and is suitable for horses and cattle.
